The University of Chicago Charter School provides students with a comprehensive college preparatory pathway, serving students from grades prekindergarten through twelth grades over four South Side campuses. The four campuses are: North Kenwood/Oakland, serving grades PreK through 5; Donoghue, serving grades PreK through 5; Carter G Woodson, serving grades 6 through 8; and Woodlawn High School, serving grades 6 through 12. We are seeking dedicated, experienced substitutes for day-to-day assignments Individuals must be flexible (able to respond to last minute teacher “sick day” calls) and should have a Bachelor’s degree, valid teaching or substitute teaching certification. High school teaching/subbing experience is desirable, but not required. Background checks are required. We will follow-up with qualified candidates and will add selected candidates to our substitute list.
