Position Summary:

This part-time position will provide supervision to IMPACT, ourextended day after-school program at North Kenwood/Oakland Charter School.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

•Provides supervision for small groups during the extended day program

•Collaborates with assigned Enrichment Instructors to support classroom management and maintain optimal student involvement

•Manages all aspects of the enrichment period

•Monitors and manages students during homework session, snack and dismissal

•Keeps accurate records - accident reports, behavioral concerns, student attendance, etc.

•Attends bi-weekly staff meetings

•Participates in extended day field trips when available

Position Qualifications:

•High School Diploma required. 1-2 years of college is preferred. Undergraduate students majoring in education are encouraged to apply.

•1-2 years experience working with elementary students in an urban public school setting and/or youth organization

•Collaborative, goal oriented, mission driven, accountable, responsible, self managed, motivated

•Excellent written and oral communication skills

•Ability to communicate and build respectful relationships with parents and caregivers
